Pre season training is underway now and I am pleased with the efforts of the players who have been training. It’s great to finally get some names on contracts and myself and Trevor are working hard to have a very good squad in place for the opening game of the season.We had players on trial over the weekend and we will continue to look at certain players. Our discussions with certain players are still going on and I hope to have some news soon. We are looking forward to our first friendly against Cobh on Saturday and hopefully we’ll have some support at the game in Crosshaven.

Waterford United has concluded the signings of three more players over the weekend.

The Waterford United Official Supporters club will resume thier regular table quiz on Thursday evening next Februaru 2nd at 9pm in Philly Grimes bar in Johnstown. All are welcome to attend.
