Waterford United would like to confirm that it has released three players today.Chris Deans, Kristian Lamberski and Andrew Polezcwak have all been released at their own request.Waterford United would like to thank the players for their contribution to the club and wish them well in their future football careers.

Waterford United face a horrendous journey north to Derry for an eircom league game that has been put back to facilitate Derry’s UEFA Cup programme.
Cork City Game Re-arranged

Waterford United’s game against Cork City which was scheduled to have taken place on Friday August 4th will now take place on Saturday August 5th at the RSC. The kick off shall be 5pm.This rearranged fixture is contingent on Cork’s progress in the UEFA Champions League. Should they overcome Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday next they will be back in action on August 8/9 so the game will be postponed again.
