Waterford United boss Gareth Cronin is still coping with injuries as he plans for Friday night
Waterford United would like to clarify that the club was not involved in discussions with any party last week in regards to funding at the RSC. The club would further like to state that it has not had contact with any political party on this matter.
Waterford United will face Cobh Ramblers in the second round of the eircom League Cup after the draw was made in Dublin today.
Friday’s game was poor from the first minute to the ninetieth. It was demoralising and the goals we conceded again were terrible. As manager I have to take full responsibility. I can’t really explain how we could go out and be as poor as we were but that’s the way it turned out.

Although it is early in the season Blues boss Gareth Cronin has some injury worries to contend with as he prepares his side for their eircom league premier division clash with UCD at Belfield on Friday. Kenny Browne continues to remain on the injury list following a work accident that resulted in a broken hand. However, Browne is hopeful of a return to training in the next week which is welcome news for Cronin.
