Game Abandoned at Tolka Park

Waterford United’s eircom league game with Shamrock Rovers has been abandoned after 52 minutes because of the high winds hitting Dublin.Roughly ten minutes into the second half with the game level at 1-1 the game was abandoned due to structural damage at Tolka Park. Caused by the high winds currently hitting the ground, officials in consultation with Gardai abandoned the game deeming it unsafe to continue after a pylon in the ground came loose.Vinny Sullivan had put Waterford ahead after 4 minutes before Danny O’Connor levelled on 32 minutes. There are no details yet on when the game will be reset for.
Full Squad named for Four Countries Tournament
