[b]Shamrock Rovers 2 Waterford United 0[/b]Two late goals were enough to hand Shamrock Rovers all three points in their rearranged eircom league premier division clash at Tolka park.The Blues went into this game bouyed by their 2-1 win over St Pat’s on Friday night but they were always chasing the game as Rovers dominated throughout. Waterford United boss Gareth Cronin has added a third new signing to the squad with the acquisition of Republic of Ireland Youth International Karl Bermingham from Derry City.
Waterford United head back to Tolka Park on Tuesday evening (KO:8pm)for their re-arranged game with Shamrock Rovers. The original game on May 18th was abandoned after 52 minutes when high winds caused a floodlight pylon to come loose and at the time the sides were tied at one all.
