Acronyms aside, it’s all happening for Blues fans at a special night in the 3 store at 7 Blackfriars, Waterford, this Tuesday December 1st at 7.00pm.

The launch of the Blues Supporters Club (formerly IBSC) will take place on the night, as the supporters club assumes a more official mantle, strengthening the bonds between the Blues and the supporters that have been a hallmark of recent seasons.

Also on the night, the 2009 Under 20 Player of the Year will be announced. This award is to be decided jointly by the management and the fans, and you can vote for your choice over on http://www.btid.net, or alternatively mail media@waterford-united.ie with your selection. Don’t forget to let us know how many games you’ve seen!

Another highlight of the night will undoubtedly be the Q&A session with Blues boss Stephen Henderson, and representatives from the management committee, which will be a great opportunity to find out what’s happening at Camp Blue in the off season thus far, and to get a flavour of the plans for the 2010 campaign! 

Also on the night, the club’s main sponsors 3 Ireland will launch their new Affinity deal for fans, of which more details are in a separate article on this site.

A packed night in store for all Blues fans then, and one not to be missed!
